Two Times the Fun!

Sunday was two of my favorite friends’ birthdays.  Another friend who was helping plan their birthday lunch sent me two different sets of plates and napkins to use as inspiration.  I loved them both and thought they each represented the two ladies really well.

Super Why Cake

I had a fun assignment this weekend for Austin’s birthday.  He loves the PBS cartoon, Super Why.  There isn’t much yet out for this new cartoon, so it was fun to come up with something all on my own!

Here are the characters…

On the show, they are “super readers” and work to solve reading/word puzzles.

So here’s what I came up with:

On the bottom half is blanks that fit his name, “Austin”, with all of the letters to unscramble around the cake.
